If you’re interested in smoothing out your swimming form, Terry Laughlin developed a lot of really great ideas with his Total Immersion (TI) approach….the philosophy is based on balance, and using minimal effort for swimming, rather than flogging yourself up and down the lanes with poor form.
Workshops are run throughout the year, in various locations.
The main challenge is finding a local instructor that also embraces the TI philosophy and approach in your local area, to help you stay consistent in your swim training approach when you come back from a workshop…if not, you’ll likely find that a non-TI coach, will often be giving advice and workouts that are very contradictory to what you’ve been taught. If you have a local instructor in your area, I’d urge you to check it out.
